The struggle, I swear is real.
When you're overwhelmed with emotion,
And there's so much you want to say,
But you're left with sweet nothings.
In absolute awe and wonder,
Gaping at what stands before you.
Person, place or thing.
Try as you might,
But your tongue will remain twisted.
Your lips, dry.
And your eyes, wide open.
With the hope that
Your dumbfounded silence
Will suffice.
Because on rare occasions,
silence can become a compliment.
